     Twin Lakes Gun Works is the best place in the country to get your tired, worn out, dried out, tar coated or just plain cruddy rifle stocks.  We have worked on stock sets for AK's and all the variations, to the Mosin Nagant 91/30 and M44, the Spanish Cetme, the Czech VZ, British Enfields and the Finnish Suomi. 

     We also know when a stock shouldn't be touched, should be kept in its present condition to save its collector value.  We always reserve the right to tell you that we should leave your gun alone!

     Every stock set is cleaned, sanded - while leaving the "character" of the weapon in tact - stained with the owner's choice of colors and then sealed with tong oil or boiled linseed oil.  Finishes vary from matte to high gloss.  Metal left on the set is cleaned and reblued.  Whole weapons can be sent directly from the owner to Twin Lakes Gun Works and will be returned via FedEx.

     TLGW is a federally licensed weapons transfer agent providing local and nation-wide dealer to dealer transfers.  Single gun transfers are done for a flat fee of $25.00.  Transfers of 2-5 weapons on a single day are charged $50.00.  FBI background checks are required for long guns.  Wisconsin Department of Justice conducts background checks for hand gun transfers.  There is a 48-hour wait period required for handgun transfers in Wisconsin.  TLGW also offers packing and shipping services to any FFL in the country.
